Ann Astbury
Private Client Law

MB:BS BSc(Hons) TEP

Ann has been a partner at Tassells since January 2000, having been admitted as a solicitor in 1994.

Before Law, Ann studied medicine. Ann specialises in Private Client Law, including: Wills, Trusts and Estates; Probate (including Probate Disputes (Contentious Probate); and Lasting Power of Attorney. She is a full member of STEP (Society of Trusts and Estates Practitioners).

Her previous experience in Family Law, gives her an insight into difficulties that arise when there are arguments over money or possessions. Though every situation is unique, it is useful to be aware of what might go wrong if a Will, for example, is not clear in its direction.

She is an associate member of  the Solicitors for the Elderly (SFE) group and is a full member of the Society of Trust and Estate Practitioners (STEP).
