On Friday the Kent Law Society will hold their AGM and annual dinner at the Mercure in Maidstone. The Kent Law Society was formed in 1818 and promotes the interests of the legal profession here in Kent.

We are very excited to be supporting this year as Sophie Wallace in our Private Client team has been shortlisted for Junior Lawyer of the Year. Sophie specialises in estate administration, Wills and Lasting Powers of Attorney and has a particular interest in intestate estates. Sophie recently won the Kent JLD Junior Lawyer of the Year award and has also been shortlisted and highly commended for several National awards in the same category over the last two years.

This year Alexandra Gordon, Partner in our Private Client team, finishes her term as Immediate Past President of the Kent Law Society. Alexandra was the 10th female President and the youngest President in the Society’s 200 year history.  Tassells has a long history with Kent Law Society, dating back to 1933 when Guy Tassell (the then senior Partner) was President.
