We are so thrilled to announce that Sophie Wallace, a Chartered Legal Executive in our Private Client team, has won the Kent Law Society Junior Lawyer of the Year award.  The award winners were announced on Friday 12 May at the Society’s annual dinner.

Sophie qualified in January 2022 and is currently studying towards her Solicitors Qualification Examinations.

Sophie was shortlisted for showing the highest professional standards towards her clients and her dedication to her colleagues.

One client commented “I want to take this opportunity to thank you for everything that you have done over the past few months. I have been so worried that today would be problematic. But as with everything else so far, it has thankfully gone without a hitch due to your involvement and outstanding professionalism. I really couldn’t have wished for a better outcome.”

Sophie also showed a high level of innovation and creativity which has helped client understanding and efficiency and an outstanding level of contribution to the profession due to her wellbeing initiatives for the Kent Law Society.

Outside of work, Sophie volunteers as a trustee for the Young Lives Foundation, a Kent-based charity supporting children, young adults, and families in need of support. Sophie also won a Kent Law Society Covid Hero Award in 2021, was a finalist and highly commended at the National Probate Research Awards 2022 under the category Young Wills and Probate Professional of the Year and then won the Kent JLD Junior Lawyer of the year 2022.
