In preparation for Dementia Awareness Week, staff at Tassells received their Dementia Awareness training today from Alison Carter.
Alison is a Dementia Friends Champion, a media volunteer for Alzheimer Research UK and Chair of Faversham Dementia Action Alliance.
The training was highly informative, with the clear aim of trying to create a dementia-friendly community so we can learn to approach those faced with dementia in a positive and caring way.
