Dementia Action Alliance Faversham
Tassells joined Dementia Action Alliance Faversham when it was formed in 2014. Our aim have to assist in raising awareness of the work of DAAF and the national Dementia Action Alliance within the community, amongst businesses and others, through eg social media and direct contact, and to ensure that our services match the needs of those living with dementia.
We present talks or seminars to relatives and carers of dementia sufferers, and to the staff of residential and nursing homes, dealing with Powers of Attorney, the Court of Protection, and related issues. We encourage all staff to become ‘Dementia Friends’ We provide home visits to those living with dementia. We maintain expertise in all areas of law pertaining to persons living with dementia.
