Susan Anderson

Susan’s background was in Sales and Marketing, but after taking a two year evening class in Law at the University of Kent, then embarked on a Law degree. She qualified as a solicitor in 2000.

She specialises in both Family and Employment law; with a particular interest in ensuring that all the sometimes forgotten effects of divorce or separation are addressed. Mindful of the welfare of the children, and the emotional turmoil of everyone concerned, Susan and Ann Astbury helped to found East Kent Collaborative law which seeks to provide a less painful way to divorce. Please see this link www.ekcl.org.uk for further details.

Susan also handles some general litigation matters and is a member of the Association of Lawyers for Children (‘ALC’). The ALC is a national association of lawyers working primarily in the area of public child care law and exists to promote access to justice for children and young people within the legal system in England and Wales.

Susan lived in Greece for several years and still travels there frequently, although she does visit other places too. She enjoys theatre, cookery, entertaining and is an obsessive reader.
