James Matthews BA








James Matthews qualified as a solicitor in 1987 and now undertakes commercial work and litigation. He spent ten years working for central government in the Treasury Solicitor’s Department, leading to his continued interest in planning, education law, human rights and other aspects of administrative law.

James enjoys reading (mainly History), cooking (nothing complicated) and playing tennis (in a very lazy way).
