Stafford Day qualified in 1969 and worked for public bodies before private practice. He has worked for the past 26 years with Tassells.  He has undertaken a wide variety of work and now concentrates on property and related work, both contentious and non-contentious.

Ann Matthews qualified in medicine in 1989 and as a solicitor in 1994. Her main area of work is in family law but is also interested in the overlap of this work with the broader needs of the private client and conducting probate matters.

James Matthews qualified as a solicitor in 1987 and now undertakes commercial work and litigation. He spent ten years working for central government in the Treasury Solicitor’s Department, leading to his continued interest in planning, education law, human rights and other aspects of administrative law.

Ian Wessels has been with Tassells since 2002 having been a Head of Department (History) at a London secondary school. He advises on the drafting of wills, managing estates, probate and trusts. He has a particular interest in solving the problems of our elderly clients and their families. Ian also has an MA in Early Medieval Archaeology.

Susan Anderson took a degree in Law at the University of Kent at Canterbury, followed by her solicitor’s qualification in 2000. Her background is in general litigation and employment issues, but she also advises on family law, including matrimonial matters and child contact. Susan speaks Greek, having spent several years living and working in the Greek Islands.

Marion Paskell has been a conveyancer since 1978 and became an Associate of the Institute of Legal Executives in 1982. She specialises in domestic conveyancing and this includes sales, purchases, re-mortgages and transfers, transfers of equity, deeds of gift, declarations of trust, probate, mortgages and auction sales.

Tracey Freeman has over thirteen years of conveyancing experience. She began work in a legal office in Yorkshire and relocated to Kent. She deals mainly with domestic conveyancing including unregistered land, and purchases, transfers of equity, re-mortgages, preparation of leases, and transactions at auction
