Before joining Tassells Yulia worked for a City law firm where she primarily dealt with commercial litigation matters in the Trade and Energy Group. Yulia is an experienced litigator and works on a variety of commercial disputes, with particular emphasis on contractual disputes, breach of warranty, breach of fiduciary and contractual duties, shareholder disputes, sale of goods and supply of services and misrepresentation. Her portfolio of clients range from national and international companies to smaller entrepreneurial enterprises and private individuals. Yulia provides comprehensive, practical advice in straightforward language. Her strong commercial focus means Yulia is able to explore quickly and cost effectively the available options in order to secure the best practical solution without having recourse to litigation.
Yulia’s other area of specialism is in contested trust and probate matters and she routinely advises clients on claims arising out of Wills, in particular challenges to the capacity of the testator, forged wills, undue influence, claims for dependants under the Inheritance (Provision for Family and Dependants) Act, removal of executors and other contentious issues that may arise in that arena.
